The target group were people serving prison sentences in Tuzla and Mostar correctional institutions and non-medical staff working in these institutions. Activities included training for non-medical staff working in correctional institutions in Mostar and Tuzla, testing prisoners on sexually transmitted infections, counseling and informing of prisoners.

Results of the project are:

• 68 members of the non-medical staff professionally trained on sexually transmitted infections;
• 250 prisoners informed;
  181 prisoner tested;
• a pre-testing counseling was carried out with 183 prisoners;
• post-testing counseling was carried out with 78 of prisoners;
• 553 brochures were distributed to employees in correctional institutions;
• 1,163 educational materials were distributed to inmates;
• four training sesions were held in correctional institutions in Tuzla and Mostar.
